Reflection

The Journey on Relaxation reminded me of yoga. The music was very relaxing and calming. I was surprised to hear that 80 percent of the body’s blood rested in the GI track and body’s core. I listened to the audio a couple of times and although I was able to relax, I’m not sure if it had anything to do with me sending blood from my body’s core into my hands. I plan on doing it again and hopefully I will achieve the task.

  1. Hi Tonya,

nice to meet you, i love the smiles on the faces of you and your son! do you guys exercise together in any type of physical activity? it is so important that we mentor our youth into various types of physical activities at an early age and encourage them to be outdoors having fun in the sun. too many children are leading sedentary lives these days and that is only a piece of the reason why so many of our youth are getting chronic diseases that used to be considered "adult dis-eases". Welcome to class and I look forward to seeing you on the DB and the blogs..

    1. Thanks,he is my best buddy. We do yoga together, and since he is a little football player he is very active. I take him to the track with me sometimes, he really keeps me on my toes.
